The Bathurst Tack Box (BTB) is the brainchild of Anna Blackburn, a long time Bathurst resident with a strong background and love for breeding and training horses.

The BTB journey began in 2017 when Anna realised there was a large opening for a local saddlery and equine supply store after other similar businesses in the area began closing down.

​

From humble beginnings of just one saddle, the business has since grown to house over 100 saddles and many other preloved items essential to horse riding and training. These items belong to a loyal group of consignees; in fact, over 200 owners have listed their saddles and other equipment at BTB to date!

​

Anna’s mission along with her team of dedicated and knowledgeable staff, is to provide a one stop service for equestrians wishing to sell their pre-loved saddles and other gear, as well as for buyers wanting to save time on their search for the perfect saddle.

​

As BTB have grown, other goodies have been added to the business including leather and rug repairs, a partnership with local artisans showcasing a range of locally grown produce and locally made leather goods, metal and wood tools and other horsemanship items.

 

We also now make our own all-natural pet food and have recently added herbal treatment consultancy and sales to our plethora of services.
